Mission Statement

Northern Dutchess Boys Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose
is to promote the game of lacrosse in the Hudson Valley in a fun, safe and sportsmanlike environment.  ND Lacrosse is dedicated to the skill development of the game without emphasis on a team's winning record. ND Lacrosse will endeavor to instill the values of sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, fair play and a love of the sport of lacrosse for players, coaches, officials, and parents.  ND Lacrosse believes that sportsmanship is a way of life and will set an example of good sportsmanship and friendly competition for ALL of our players.

About Us

Northern Dutchess Boys Youth Lacrosse offers opportunities for boys in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our season runs from mid-April to June.

K-2 Program

Our players in grades K-2 participate in practices once per week for the duration of the season and the only required equipment is a stick. This group participates in non-contact drills and games to learn the fundamental skills of lacrosse.

3-6 Program

Players in grades 3-6 are divided into a 3-4 and a 5-6 team. Both teams participate in practices once per week and play games on Saturdays. Players must wear all protective equipment which is required by USA Lacrosse (USA Lacrosse Equipment Guide). The games are played against other local youth programs, and can be home (at Red Hook High School) or away. Away games are usually 30 minutes to an hour from Red Hook. There are usually about 6 games and 1 tournament in one season.
